Goodmans Delivers Free HD Digital TV
May 6 2008, Goodmans, is pleased
to announce its entry into the exciting new Freesat HD Digital
Box market, offering consumers, access to free high definition
digital TV without subscription charges.
All you need to get the new
Freesat digital services is a small satellite dish, and one of
the new Goodmans Freesat Digital Boxes – Simple!
The Freesat TV channel line-up
is amazing with initially over 80 free digital TV and radio channels
and interactive services, as well as (HD) high definition programming
from the BBC and ITV. More channels are set to join the line-up
along the way.
If you’ve already upgraded
your analogue TV to a HD Ready model, then all you have to do
to start watching free HD in full glory, is connect the new Goodmans
GFSAT200HD HD Freesat Digital Box to your TV and voila –
cinematic sound and vision quality in your living room without
the distraction of popcorn munching from the row behind!
Watching in HD gives you up
to five times more picture definition and once you’ve experienced
it you’ll appreciate the finer details in life and they’ll
be no turning back. Couple that with the Dolby Digital 5.1 surround
sound in which many of the HD programmes will be broadcast and
you’ll actually start to feel like you’re in the programme
and not just watching it.
For those consumers whose main
objective is to watch all the Freesat free digital TV channels

Both new models will be available
at leading on-line and high street retailers from May and will
offer excellent value. For a one off payment consumers will receive
the satellite dish, digital box and installation. There is no
ongoing subscriptions or long-term contracts so you’re left
alone to simply enjoy the wealth of digital TV channels that Freesat
offers.
